Desert Rose Inn & Suites
Amer & Cindy Tumeh’s first dip into the hospitality industry started when they purchased the Historic Jens Nielson home and renovated it into a 5 bedroom Guest House. They loved the people and the process so much they decided they needed to expand. However, not wanting to destroy the historic integrity of the Jens Nielson home they decided to build outside the historic district. Landing them on the west end of Bluff they started with 5 Executive Cabins and an office cabin in 1997....
Our Client Testimonials
ediebSyracuse "WOW, what a find!!" We were originally going to stay in Blanding, but decided to drive a little further on our way to Monument Valley. What a find this place was through hotels.com. I believe that this is a fairly new property. They have a hotel property that is gorgeous with lovely grounds, good size pool, laundry facilities and small store for supplies. Our bother-in-law and his wife stayed in the hotel and we stayed in some separate cabins also located on the property. Check in was a breeze, staff suggested dining places in the area, our rooms were extremely comfortable and well appointed. Wish we could have stayed more than one night!
foreda "Bluff is great!" We have been there at the end of September. What can I say, this was the best hotel we have been in US! First of all night shift staff was very kind, patient and helpful. Hotel room was very clean, quiet, modern, spacious. Finally we felt back to the year 2014 again after staying all inns and lodges....which were old and overpriced too. The beds were soo comfortable, I did not want to leave. Clean linen, towels, bathroom. There is also a laundry facility which is an an oasis for travelers. Thank you
Lori B "Oasis in the middle of nowwhere" We were headed to Monument Valley coming out of Moab and needed a place to stay enroute. We booked the Desert Rose Inn in Bluff as it looked like a rustic cabin on the exterior. We were surprised to find that they have added on to the facility and the new part was gorgeous. There were common areas to sit inside, a huge indoor pool and separate hot tub. The outside has a lovely sitting areas and our room was straight out of HGTV!! the walk in tile shower was gorgeous and the room spacious. the mattress on the bed was so comfortable and we had a patio outside that we could sit out and watch the sun set. I truly can't say enough about this resort! The town is so small it was a total surprise to find this retreat.
Located at the west entrance to historic Bluff, Utah, the Desert Rose Inn architecture is an all wood style building with massive timbers which excite the senses with their intimate charm.
